Altrincham Kersal 18-30 Liverpool St.Helens

Saturday 5th October
North West Division 1
Attendance: TBC
Admission: Free

Altrincham Kersal RFC play in the North West 1 Division, the 5th tier of English rugby. They play the home games at Stelfox Avenue where there is the main pitch with two other pitches beyond that playing host to the various other Kersal teams. The main pitch is fairly open with a large clubhouse at one end of the pitch and trees cover much of the ground. There is a small amount of parking next to the clubhouse but beyond the club is a residential area so parking is difficult.

There is no admission costs to the match so it makes the game worth the money but your money will be spent elsewhere with the bar in the clubhouse and programmes on sale. We didn't buy a programme but last seasons was £3 with a season-wide programme and had a review of the season before.
The food on offer seemed very limited plus there was no list of the products on sale. But more importanly a suprisingly large portion of chips would set you back only £1.20, nice enough but there were cold and there were no condiments.

Overall a very simple ground but has a very nice clubhouse. Cheap day, and it's definitely a plus when the weather's great and you can sit outside.
