NWCFL Division One
Attendance: 85
Admission: £5
Cheadle Town play in the NWCFL Division One and their home ground is the Park Road Stadium which has one seated stand and the rest of the ground is extremely open. In the way of facilities there is a spacious bar and a small refreshments stand. The game was constantly disrupted by the sound of planes passing close over the stadium; but there was little atmosphere to disrupt. There is a lot in the way of parking within the stadium and the surrounding areas.
At half-time we visited the refreshments stand to check it out. 'Away Chips' is made difficult as they don't sell chips. Chocolate and Crisps, 60p and pies only £1.50 so decent price considering the amount for admission; which isn't that much, but for the overall experience seems steep. The programme was lacking in most aspects for £1.50 the content is limited and the match review from their last game wasn't particularly good for a photo perspective.
If you live locally then it's great for a football match but otherwise it's not worth travelling long distance. They obviously don't attract many home fans with Hanley fans making up most of the attendance. It come as no surprise they fail to attract the masses with overly priced admission. The low crowds may be as of an effect of the game being an 8:00 mid-week game.
